Welcome to Glenallen Elementary—North Port’s First and Finest!

Welcome to our Glenallen Elementary School website! We appreciate your interest in our school and support of our students. This website will assist families, students, staff and community members in learning more about our school. We welcome your ideas, as we frequently update our website to provide current information. Our goal is to help every child be successful in the classroom and in life.

Glenallen Elementary School is a Pre-K through 5th grade elementary school with approximately 750 students. Glenallen was the first elementary school built in the City of North Port back in 1984. We are very proud of our history in this community as well as our academic accomplishments!

Our mission is to ensure successful learning experiences for all students by providing an academically challenging environment which is both caring and supportive. We have an incredibly talented group of teachers that I know will make a positive impact in the lives of our students. This year as we focus our professional development for our staff members, we will be focusing on extending excellence to all students. We are excited for a year of professional learning that will only improve our instructional practices and ultimately improve student achievement!

We also offer a multitude of before and after school enrichment opportunities each school year based on our current staff and their creative ideas! We strive to provide our students with a variety of enriching activities to supplement our academic programs. Stay tuned for programs and opportunities coming this school year!
